GGS Data Access

GGP provides FREE data access to suport academic and policy research. There are 3 levels of data access.

1. Fully open - anyone can access GGP Contextual Database
2. Registered users - just by providing valid e-mail you will gain access to the online data browsing and analysis tool

3. Micro data users - by registering @ GGP-i you can also apply for a full access to the GGP micro data for any academic or policy research question

Wave 2 Data available

The first harmonized Wave 2 data sets of the Generations and Gender Survey are available for registered data users of the Generations and Gender Programme. Datasets of four countries are available for registered GGP data users: Germany (main sample and supplementary sample of Turkish migrants), France, Georgia and Bulgaria. The release of harmonized GGS Wave 2 data sets an important milestone within the GGP by marking the start of use of the GGP as a genuine longitudinal internationally comparative data source.

Revision 4.1 Wave 1 Data is now available.

Revision 4.1 deals with some minor errors from the major 4.0 release. It is NOW available for download.
