Latest updates

We are only one week away from the 6th GGP user conference! An overview of the latest updates, practical information, and conference program is provided on this page.

The conference, which takes place from 4 to 8 October 2021, brings together researchers working with data from the GGS, Contextual Database, and the Harmonized Histories, providing them a platform to discuss their most recent methodological approaches and empirical findings. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the conference will be online.

The conference will be held via Zoom and is open to anyone from the GGP-community interested to attend a session and join in discussion. To facilitate a productive online event, the program consists of daily sessions, which will be held from 13h00 to 14h00 (CEST), and an additional session with flash talks, which is scheduled on Tuesday October 5 from 14h30 to 15h45 (CEST).

A final version of the program and the booklet of abstracts can be downloaded below. The zoom links as well as detailed zoom instructions on how to join an online session can be found in the program.

Share your insights: Submit your abstract to the 6th GGP User Conference

The Generations & Gender Programme is delighted to announce the 6th GGP User Conference. This conference brings together researchers working with data from the Gender and Generations Survey, the GGP Contextual Database, or the Harmonized Histories, and invites them to present and discuss their most recent methodological approaches and empirical findings. The conference provides a forum for exchange of ideas among existing as well as new GGP users, policymakers, and the research community at large. Given the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference will take place online.

The organizers especially encourage submission of papers using recently collected rounds of the GGS survey as well as papers providing new methodological insights. Moreover, we encourage papers using longitudinal or multi-country data. Papers can be submitted for (virtual) oral presentation. There is no fee for the conference, but places are limited.

Call for abstracts is closed.
