The 7th GGP User Conference was held at the Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw, Poland, on 13-15 September 2023.
Overview
This international conference, organised by the Consortium Board of the Generations and Gender Programme, in cooperation with the Warsaw School of Economics, brought together researchers working with data from the Generations and Gender Survey, the GGP Contextual Database, and the Harmonized Histories, who presented and discussed their most recent methodological approaches and empirical findings. The GGP User Conference provided a platform for the exchange of ideas among existing and new GGP users, policymakers, and the research community at large. 40 papers were presented in a total of 9 sessions, including 2 flash sessions and 1 poster session.
The keynote speaker, Prof. Anna Matysiak, University of Warsaw, founder of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Labour Market and Family Dynamics – LABFAM, brought valuable insights and expertise on structural labour market change and fertility.
