The 18th session of the Standing Working Group on Ageing in Geneva.
GGP Deputy Director Yuri Pettinicchi joined the the eighteenth session of the Standing Working Group on Ageing (SWGA) held in Geneva on 12–14 November 2025. Pettinicchi gave an update on current developments within the GGP.
Established in 2008, the SWGA is an intergovernmental body under the UNECE Executive Committee. It brings together national focal points on ageing alongside observers from NGOs, academia, and international organizations. Its mission is to help UNECE member states integrate population ageing into policy frameworks and foster environments that support the full potential of longevity.
